The Bumblebee Charity Bead
The UK's Bumblebee population is in crisis and we'd like to do our bit to help where we can. With World Bumblebee Day coming up on the 20 May we have created this very special Bumblebee Charity Bead to raise funds for the UK's Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
Their vision is to see a world where bumblebees are thriving and valued by everyone and their Mission Statement:
Bumblebees are in crisis. We are leading the fight to secure their future. Guided by the latest science we carry out research, influence environmental policy and conserve and create bumblebee friendly habitats. We inspire people and organisations to take action for our precious bumblebees, working together to help them thrive.
We will be donating £2 from each sale of these beads to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust 🐝
It's probably obvious that this bead is inspired by bumblebees! We have made the bead with a small core of white and layered alternative dots of yellow and black glass which is covered in a clear glass and melted until the dots stretch across the bead to form stripes.
Each bead will have varying width of stripes some with more yellow, black or white making each one as unique as each bumblebee!

Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.

Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
