Gold Filled
Our gold filled jewellery is composed of a solid layer of gold mechanically bonded to a sterling silver base. Each piece will contain a minimum of 5% gold. Although a gold filled piece of jewellery is not solid gold, it has the same desirable properties and look of solid gold. It should be much longer lasting than gold plated and shouldn’t tarnish. Often, those that are sensitive to certain metals can wear gold filled jewellery without a reaction.
Our gold filled jewellery collection is currently available for our bespoke sand beads. Simply select your beach sand from our sand library (or send some in), choose your colour of glass and whether you would like it/them on gold hoop earring, gold thread through earrings or a gold necklace. We will hand make your jewellery to order and send it out to you.
IP Gold
Ion plating or IP jewellery is one of the newest and most advanced plating processes in which the surface is treated. With ion plating, a top layer of 18K gold is applied to durable stainless steel jewellery. IP plating produces a harder and more durable coating than that produced by traditional plating methods making this range of jewellery water, sweat and heat resistant.
Our IP gold jewellery range is compatible with almost all of our glass and silver beads (excluding beach drop beads and tube-shaped silver charms), so you can interchange your Nalu collection to match your moods and outfits!

Made in North Devon
We hand make your sand beads to order using lampwork techniques in our studio in Braunton, North Devon. Every sand bead will be completely unique as each pinch of sand reacts differently to the lamp worked glass.
