Beach Drop Gold Necklace

Introducing our latest addition to our Sand Collection...the Gold Beach Drop Necklace!

These dainty little beads come in a set of three, strung on a gold filled fine beading chain necklace in a choice of lengths. They fasten with a gold filled bolt ring clasp and finished with a gold filled engraved Nalu Swirl tag.

Gold filled, also known as “rolled gold” comprises a solid layer of gold (14k) permanently bonded to a base metal, such as brass. The minimum layer of gold must equal at least 1/20th the weight of the total item. It is very hard wearing and under normal wear the gold will not peel or flake.

You can choose a different beach sand for each bead or have the same beach in each bead.  Select from 15 different shades of transparent glass...clear, grey, pale blue, dark blue, apple green, sea glass green, teal, mint, lavender, rose, peach, amber, emerald, berry or dark pink.

The necklaces come on a choice of four different lengths : Short 40cm (16") | Regular 43cm (17") | Mid 45cm(18") let us know if you would like a bespoke length made up.

PLEASE NOTE make sure you order the correct length…we make them up to fit so may need to charge for any alterations.

Individual bead sizes are : approximately 12mm diameter and 6mm width

Each pinch of sand will react differently so every bead will be completely unique and these bead are quite small so there's only so many grains we can melt into them!

Each pebble is approximately 10mm in diameter and 7mm in thickness.

There are 12 lush glass colours to choose from so pick your favourite from Apple Green, Grey, Baby Blue, Lavender, Sea Glass Green, Amber, Dark Blue, Pale Pink, Clear, Emerald, Berry and Dark Pink.

Please be aware that your Beach Sand Pebble is going to be entirely unique and may not look like the bead in the product photograph. Each pinch of sand from every beach is entirely different as it is composed of different natural elements. Some elements will cause a reaction that creates bubbles, some just burn up and it’s difficult to get a lot of grains to show. We are sometimes limited by the amount of sand we can encase in a bead due to these reactions as they may cause weaknesses in the bead which can lead to cracking. Unfortunately we have no control over how the sand may react in each bead we make so please expect a variety of variations in your bead due to the nature of us adding a natural inconsistent material to extreme heat in molten glass. We can however guarantee that each bead is individual and made with love.
