Seaford Bead
Seaford is a seaside town in East Sussex and lies between Newhaven and Eastbourne and where the south downs meet the sea with dramatic cliffs and shingled beach. It was once a thriving port and still attracts visitors with its dramatic views of the 7 sisters’ cliffs. Its long promenade attracts both walkers and cyclists and is popular for families and sea swimming.
Our Seaford bead is made from a core of light turquoise glass representing the sea. The bead is then encased in baby blue glass to give depth. We have used frit, shards of coloured glass, representing the dramatic coastline of the cliffs and shingle beach to decorate the bead and rolled it on pins to add more depth and texture.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
