Pevensey Bay
Pevensey Bay is an old fishing village 5 miles east of Eastbourne. It is a shingle beach approximately 1 mile from the village of Pevensey. Houses and gardens back on to the beach and the area to the northeast are salt marshes, which is a haven for fauna and flora.
Pevensey Bay is a popular place to do water sports including kayaking, canoeing, sailing and windsurfing.
Our pretty Pevensey Bay bead has been made using a core of white and it is encased in a peach glass, representing the colours from the pebbles and shingle and pretty flowers along the coastline. The bead is then decorated with a grasshopper green glass in twists and waves around the waves portraying the colour of the grasses and plants and the rolling waves lapping the shore. This bead has been tumbled to give a soft matt finish.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
