Eastbourne
Eastbourne is a seaside town on the south coast in East Sussex; it is east of Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Great Britain. This stretch of seafront is lined in Victorian hotels; it has a 19th century pier and a bandstand. Eastbourne is known as the UK’s sunniest place and there is plenty to do and visit including the Towner Art gallery. It has a stunning back drop and the end of the South Downs Way and therefore popular with walkers.
Our Eastbourne bead is made from a speciality green and white glass portraying the sweeping hills of the South Downs Way and the dramatic chalk cliffs. The bead is then decorated in a black glass representing the structure of the pier and the groynes along the beach. The bead is then tumbled to give the bead its beautiful matt finish.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
