Porlock Bead
Inspired by the village of Porlock in Somerset. We have chosen a pale grey glass for the base of the bead and then added a unique blend of frit for the surface. The frit is made up of purple, dark green and bright green shards of glass. Once we have melted these shards into the surface of the bead, we have made swirling patterns in the glass with a sharp tool.
The colours we have chosen represent the grey shingle and pebbles of the bay with the purples for the moorland heather and the greens of the wooded headland.
These beads will vary in colour quantities and patterns from bead to bead.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.

Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
