Mendip Hills Bead
The Mendip Hills is a range of ancient limestone hills south of Bristol and Bath in Somerset. It is a wonderful place to explore with woodland, rocks, streams and caves. The Mendips has two trails, the West and East Mendip Way. The village of Cheddar is a popular destination and the outstanding limestone gorge and caves.
The stunning scenery has inspired our Mendips Hills bead across the rolling hills. The bead is made from white glass and then rolled in handmade frit ( tiny shards of coloured glass) The bead is then gravity swirled which is heating the colours at a very high temperature and allowing them to mix into one another, this portrays the rolling hills.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
