New Forest Cycle Trails Bead
Introducing our newest collection of beads for the UK's most popular coast paths, cycle routes and national trails!
The New Forest is a cyclists heaven! With over 100 miles of off road cycle tracks through beautiful forests, magical heathlands, historic villages and amongst free roaming ponies, cattle as well as abundant wildlife. There were just too many wonderful routes in the area so we decided on a single bead to represent the beauty of all the New Forest has to offer a cyclist!
We wanted to bring in some of the inspiration from our bestselling New Forest National Park bead so we have used the same frit blend but changed up the glass colours. The core is bead is made with green marble which is then rolled over our New Forest frit. This is left raised whilst a transparent emerald glass is melted onto it to give the shards a floating appearing within the bead. We want to capture the feeling of cycling through the forest in spring! The surface of the bead is then wrapped with a stripe of sand glass for those fun gravel roads and as with all of our cycle route beads, it has been decorated with flat black meandering paths around the surface of the bead.
Each bead has been thoughtfully designed and handmade in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.

Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
