We are so excited to finally be able to share these amazing new beads for all 15 National Parks around the UK with you!
The wonderful South Downs is the gateway to England, famous for its mile upon mile of rolling green hills and impressive chalk cliffs.
This bead is inspired by the grassy-topped hills that make way to its searing chalk cliffs. The bead is made up entirely of a green glass called Grasshopper which is then rolled carefully over two lines of frit…one green and the other enamel white. This is then melted in with creates a beautiful reaction, the bead is then tumbled to give it beautiful matt textured finish.
Our beautiful South Downs beads are handmade in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
