The Lake District National Park Bead
Whether you’re looking for adventure or peace and tranquility, this special park has something for everyone with its clear lakes, ancient woodlands and endless fells.
We were inspired by the rich golden hills and clear reflecting waters of the Lake District. The bead is made entirely of Dark Ivory glass which has then been rolled in a special Triton Frit. This is then heated a lot before being slowly reduced to create these shimmering silver reflective lakes on the surface of the bead.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
Bead Sizes:
Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
