Islay Bead - Scotland
Islay is the southernmost of the Inner Hebrides islands off the west coast of Scotland. Islay lies in Argyll and Bute and neighbours Jura. Although Islay is famous for its whiskey distilleries it is a beautiful peaceful island with picturesque villages, beaches and stunning views for walking.
Our beautiful Islay bay has been made using a core of pearl grey, which is then rolled in frit and gold foil, these colours have been chosen as they represent the sun shining on the beaches and the alpenglow along the coastline. The bead is then encased in a light amber glass to add depth.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
