Hawker's Cove Bead
Inspired by the beautiful secluded beach of Hawker’s Cove on the North Coast of Cornwall. Collect our Murano glass charms to create unique surf jewellery.
Hawker's Cove is a peaceful little beach on mouth of the Camel estuary, just over a mile from Padstow. Explore its miles of white sand beach at lower tides or snuggle into its secluded cove at high.
Our Hawkers Cove bead has been made with a mixture of light and dark turquoise glass mixed with a blend of our unique Hawkers frit. We then melt and swirl this mixture of glass together and add some bicarb to create bubbles before encasing the bead in clear glass. These colours represent the Erigeron Sea Breeze flowers found along the coast against the back drop of the turquoise sea.
Our Hawker's Cove beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
