Bigbury Bead
Bigbury-on-sea is a village on the south coast of Devon, not to be confused with the inland village of Bigbury! It is located above the largest sandy beach in Devon which is a very popular spot for water sports enthusiasts. It is most famous landmark is Burgh Island which overlooks the beach.
The inspiration behind the Bigbury bead was to create a bead that represented the water glistening on the rock pools. The transparent teal glass encases the mica powder inside to give it a sparkle. This gives the bead the look of the sun gleaming down onto the pools whilst the dots around the bead represent water droplets.
