Bantham Bay Bead
Bantham is a costal village in south Devon in the district of south Hams. The beach looks over panoramic views of Bigbury Bay and Burgh Island. Bantham beach remains unspoilt and has a reputation as one of the best surf beaches in Devon. It has an exposed river break that has reliable surf, although it can be quite flat over the summer months.
We decided to use a series of layered dots for our Bantham bead to represent the curved shape of the bay and river. They were also representative of the pools of water left on the beach at low tide. A lush green colour glass was used to represent the beautiful landscape and surroundings set against the turquoise of the sea.
