Whitstable Bead
Whitstable is a seaside town in north Kent and famous for its oysters, seafood and charm. It is a well liked holiday destination and day trip from the city. It has a harbour and a long stretch of shingle and pebble beach, which is popular for water sports and activities. The front has pretty pastel coloured shop fronts and colourful houses and fisherman’s huts.
Our pretty Whitstable bead is created using a special bright blue glass called aloha representing the sky on a bright summers day. The bead is then encased in a pink filigrano glass, which creates delicate waves around the bead and portraying the rolling waves of the sea and the colours found within the pretty shops and houses.
