Viking Bay is a sandy, horseshoe bay in Broadstairs Kent. Viking bay is the main beach in Broadstairs with a very attractive and picturesque setting including a cliff top promenade and boardwalk. Viking bay was first surfed in the 1960’s and has become a popular surf beach including its own surf school and club.
The surrounding coastline has inspired our pretty Viking Bay. We took inspiration from the beautiful pink flowers found on the headline. The bead has been made in an ivory glass and then rolled in opal raspberry frit (tiny shards of coloured glass). The different types and colours of glass causes a lovely reaction which gives it an outline and adds depth.
Our Viking Bay beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
