Wells Next The Sea Bead

Wells Next The Sea Bead

A beautiful glass bead inspired by Wells Next The Sea, Norfolk. Collect our glass charms to create a beach inspired jewellery to remember your favourite places.

We worked closely with our friends at Wet Dog Surf Shop in Norfolk to create this beautiful bead for Wells Next The Sea.

Wet Dog has been based in North Norfolk since 2012 looking after the needs of keen Surfers, Paddle Boarders, Swimmers and Body Boarders and has branches in Cromer and Wells Next The Sea. They support all major brands and offer swimwear, wetsuits, clothing and accessories. They love the area and have seen many changes in the coastline over the years and are stoked to now have a great range of Nalu Beads representing all their beautiful beach/surf destinations.

North Norfolk is blessed with a stunning coastline that varies so much from one location to another including forests, cliffs, dunes, marshes and sandy beaches.
Here in Wells Next The Sea the tide can go out for miles leaving a vast expanse of light golden sand but then can also come right in to the harbour wall covering the marshland that separates the beach from the town in its entirety and becomes this beautiful mass of vibrant blue water.
Set on the edge of the beach and a mile or so from the town is the beautiful pine forest with its mass of dark green trees that provide a stunning contrast to the golden beach, clear sky and blue sea.
Standing in the middle of the beach near the dunes, you have this feeling of ‘openness’ and a 360 degree turn gives such a mix of colours, feelings and emotions, so is truly a wonderful beach location.

This bead has a gravity swirled core made with white glass mixed with blue and green glass shards. The core is then encased with half emerald and half dark blue transparent glass.

Our Wells Next The Sea beads are made in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.

We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
