Poppit Sands Bead
Inspired by the beautiful beach at Poppit Sands at the mouth of the Teifi Estuary in Pembrokeshire, Wales.
We wanted this bead to capture the ever changing colours of the sea coming up over the beach and river banks. The core is made using a gravity swirl technique of opaque turquoise and purple glass. This is encased with a filigrano glass with a cream coloured core which creates random 'sand' streamers around the bead to represent the banks of the estuary. The bead is then given a final encasing with clear glass.
These beads will all be very individual in pattern due the nature of the techniques used in making them so please expect variations from the product sample image.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.

Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
