Pink Filigrana Sand Heart Silk Necklace
Our Sand Hearts are back! These limited edition Sand Heart Necklaces will be available until the end of March and will be made to order especially for you with your choice of beach sand.
Each heart bead is made with grains of sand from your chosen beach melted into a beautiful Pink Core Filigrana Murano glass rod before being pressed into our heart shaped press. We've left the silver stringer off this pink heart as we felt it distracted from the colours within bead but if you want us to add one, just let us know!
Filigrana are rods of clear glass with a filament of pink glass running through the middle, when melted thin streamers of pink glass will run through the bead. Please note that every heart is individually made so please expect variations in the patterns and colours of your bead. The amount of pink streamers through the glass will also vary.
They come strung on a pink or grey fine silk cord and fasten with a sterling silver clasp and finished with a silver stamped Nalu Swirl tag.
Choose from 4 different lengths of necklace : Short 40cm (16") | Regular 43cm (17") | Mid 45cm(18") | Long 51cm(20") let us know if you would like a bespoke length made up. PLEASE NOTE make sure you order the correct length…we make them up to fit so will need to charge £2 to change the length of your necklace as we cannot reuse the fittings or cord!
Each pebble is approximately 10mm in diameter and 7mm in thickness.
Please be aware that your Beach Sand Pebble is going to be entirely unique and may not look like the bead in the product photograph.
Unfortunately we have no control over how the sand may react in each bead we make so please expect a variety of variations in your bead due to the nature of us adding a natural inconsistent material to extreme heat in molten glass. We can however guarantee that each bead is individual and made with love.
