Llantwit Major Bead
Llanwit Major is a small coastal town situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, South Wales. With its position in the Bristol Channel it works best on a big swell but is know for its consistency and fun waves.
It can however be a treacherous area with strong prevailing SW winds and the second biggest tidal drop in the world. Locals were concerned about the number of water related incidents in the area and established the Llantwit Major Surf Life Saving club back in 1963 starting with just a few volunteers. The club now boasts of 180 members and is always ready to welcome new members to its growing family.
Inspired by blue skies against the sparkling white and grey pebble beach. We have tumbled this bead to give it a frosted matt, textured sea glass finish.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
