Les Deux Alpes Bead
Les Deux Alpes is a ski resort in Isere, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. It has the largest skiable glacier in Europe and France's second oldest ski resort. The 2 Alpes refer to the two adjacent pasture areas of the original mountain pasture, not the two mountains. For skiing and snowboarding there are 200 km of slopes available, including the longest fully on-piste vertical available in the world.
Making a ½ and ½ bead in sky blue and pearl grey glass inspired by the blue skies and the shadows of the mountains, we've created our Deux Alpes Bead. The bead is then wrapped in white glass around the middle to capture the snow. It is then decorated in black ‘V’ shaped lines to represent the mountains. The bead is then carefully sprinkled with white enamel on the peaks to create a look of falling snow.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
