Glencoe Bead - Scotland
Glencoe is the oldest ski centre in Scotland in Western Scotland. It is situated in the valley of Glencoe near the village of Glencoe. There are 24 km of slopes for skiers and snowboarders.
Making a bead in white and then rolling it in a handmade frit, tiny shards of coloured glass have created our pretty Glencoe bead. The bead is then heated at a very high temperature, which lets the colours move around the bead and create patterns. The purples and lilacs represent colours found within the landscape and shadows formed from the mountains. The bead is then encased in clear to add depth and decorated with random white dots of glass portraying falling snow.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
