Embleton Bay Bead
Embleton Bay is a beautiful wide sandy beach in Northumberland. Embleton village lies about 1 mile from the coast. The bay has a dramatic backdrop with dunes, beautiful wild flowers and the impressive ruins of Dunstanburgh castle. Embleton is an exposed beach break with pretty consistent surf.
We have tried to capture the beauty and backdrop of the castle in our Embleton bead. We created a small base bead in a new ivory which marbles ivory and grey glass together. The bead is then encased in a pretty peach glass to add depth and to pick out colours from the wild flowers. The bead is then decorated with a silver ivory glass and a layer of lapis and twisted when hot to create a wave.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
