Earth Action North Devon Charity Bead

Sale price£12.95

After seven years of grassroots environmental action, award-winning North Devon charity Plastic Free North Devon (PFND) has evolved into Earth Action North Devon (EAND).

To celebrate this, we held a competition and asked our amazing followers to help create a brand new bead for this wonderful charity (Reg No: 1182464).

We had such an amazing response to our Design A Bead Competition that we have decided to release the runner up bead design as a limited edition bead, only available until midnight on Sunday 11 May 2025.

We will be donating £2 from each sale of these beads to Earth Action North Devon 🌍

This winning bead, as voted for by you, was designed by Rachael Bowler, here is the description of her design:

'My bead features a pale blue core with a dark green frit. This is encased in clear glass with decorations of lines in yellow and dark green. These are not only the colours featured in the EAND logo but also represent the sea (pale blue bead core), sand (yellow) and sustainable nature of the work they do (dark green).

AND FOR A LIMITED TIME... Our runner up design will be available to buy until midnight on Sunday 11th May!

The runner up bead was designed by Anna Pursey, here is the description of her design:

'I was inspired by the colour scheme of the Earth Action North Devon logo and used these colours to stripe/swirl around the bead to represent the cyclical nature of sustainability. I wanted to ensure the bead was recognisable so I added glass dots to the surface t make it interesting both texturally and visually.'

Earth Action North Devon Mission Statement:
