Cornish Seal Sanctuary Charity Pebble Necklace
Charity Jewellery Supporting Seals.
We are absolutely thrilled to be making these very special pebble necklaces to sell in support of the Cornish Seal Sanctuary.
The SEA LIFE TRUST Cornish Seal Sanctuary is a charity that rescues and rehabilitates grey seal pups from around the Cornish coastline.
Each season (September - March), the Sanctuary rehabilitates over 70 seal pups that have been rescued for various reasons, from malnourishment to being separated from their mum.
The Sanctuary also provides a permanent home to animals that need special care from the team of marine animal experts, including seals, sea lions, penguins and beavers.
When visiting the Sanctuary, experience these wonderful marine animals up close and personal and learn all about their individual stories.
You can find out more about our mission and vital conservation work, right here.
These pebbles are made with a lovely pale grey glass which is then rolled in a mixture of grey glass shards in various different shades. We wanted to represent the beautiful seals so using this technique will ensure that each bead will be different and as unique as the resident seals at the sanctuary.
Your pebble will come strung on a fine Grey cord silk necklace in the length of your choice and will fasten with a sterling silver clasp and silver Nalu Swirl tag. Choose from 16"(short), 17"(regular), 18(medium) or 20"(long).
Our Cornish Seal Sanctuary Murano glass beads are individually handmade using lampwork techniques at our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
