East Portlemouth Bead

East Portlemouth Bead

A glass charm bead to represent the three little beaches that make up East Portlemouth in Devon. Beach jewellery to collect as a memento of your favourite beaches.

East Portlemouth beach is actually made of three little beaches…Fishermans Cove, Smalls Cove and Mill Bay. A great beach to come for the day and find your very own secluded little spot.

This is the first time we’ve used this technique on a Nalu Bead and we just love it! The core of the bead is made with turquoise glass before being encased in a colour called Antique Clear which is a very pale teal, the molten bead is then rolled over a pin frog to create little holes all over the surface of the bead. We think it gives the effect of the rippling waters of the Salcombe Estuary.

Our East Portlemouth Beach beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.

We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
