Bespoke Beach Sand Beads
We all have a favourite beach...whether it holds special memories of summers past, your favourite surf spot or the place you head to to forget it all.
The Nalu idea was sparked by wanting to make beads that represented our most loved beaches and now we want to take it to an even more special level. The idea is to keep the beach with you all times! We are offering a brand new service where if you send us just a tiny pinch of sand from your special beach we'll melt it into a glass Nalu Bead.
We only need a small pinch of sand, just what comes off your feet...a 1/4 teaspoon will be more than enough!
Please make sure the sand is clean and dry with the smallest sand particles possible. Unfortunately we cannot add any stones/sea glass/shells they will just burn up. Please note that we cannot guarantee that all beach sand will be compatible when melted and there is a possibility that we won't be able to make your bead, we haven't had on yet and we will try our very best to make it work! If your bead cannot be made a full refund will be given.
Available colours are Peach, Lavender, Rose, Baby Blue, Light Amber, Dark Amber, Apple Green, Sea Glass Green, Bright Green, Grey, Dark Blue and Clear.

Please be aware that your Beach Sand Bead is going to be entirely unique and may not look like the bead in the product photograph. Each pinch of sand from every beach is entirely different as it is composed of different natural elements. Some elements will cause a reaction that creates bubbles, some just burn up and it’s difficult to get a lot of grains to show. We are sometimes limited by the amount of sand we can encase in a bead due to these reactions as they may cause weaknesses in the bead which can lead to cracking. Unfortunately we have no control over how the sand may react in each bead we make so please expect a variety of variations in your bead due to the nature of us adding a natural inconsistent material to extreme heat in molten glass. We can however guarantee that each bead is individual and made with love.

Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
