Aberavon Bead
£10.79
Aberavon beach glass bead joins the Welsh surf jewellery collection. The frit in the handmade murano glass bead represents the surfers out at sea.

Aberavon is a district of Port Talbot and it lies east of Swansea. Aberavon beach stretches for 5km and looks across to Swansea bay.
It has consistent surf and is popular with kite surfers due to its high winds. The beach is also popular with families, swimmers and sea kayakers.
Our Aberavon bead has been created using a speciality purple marble glass as it has it has hues of mauve and lavender, which is inspired by the rolling waves of the sea. The bead is then carefully decorated in a handmade frit (shards of coloured glass). The colours of frit are inspired by our Welsh collection beads and represent the surfers out at sea waiting to catch a wave.
Our Aberavon beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
