Jackson Hole is a valley in Wyoming, USA named after the Virginia trapper David Edward Jackson. The word hole was used by the early mountain men who entered the valley by descending over the steep valley slopes, as if dropping into a hole! Jackson Hole is a remote area which boasts the Tenton Mountains as its back drop with a rich variety of wild life.

We started off with a white base bead which is then rolled in our unique blend of frit, a mixture of crushed pastel red and translucent blue glass. The red representing the tram against the snowy slopes and the vibrant blue of the sky. The bead is then encased in clear glass with delicate strips of white glass rolled down each side to create a window effect.
