We have designed and handmade a very special limited-edition bead and bracelet to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW). We are very excited and proud to be supporting CHSW and will be donating £2 from the sale of each bespoke bead or £5 from the sale of each CHSW bracelet to the charity.
Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) is celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 2021. The charity was founded in 1991 and has provided a safe haven of care, support and friendship for thousands of children with life-limiting conditions and their families ever since.
Today, CHSW supports more than 500 families across the region, providing respite, emergency, end-of-life and bereavement care and support for the whole family. It has adapted its care during the pandemic to ensure Covid-safe support wherever and whenever families need it, including - for the first time ever - in families’ own homes.
There are lots of ways people can support CHSW during its 30th year and every penny raised will help to ensure they can continue to care for very poorly children and families. To get involved, please visit www.chsw.org.uk/30
This beautiful bead is inspired by CHSW celebrating their 30th Anniversary! As you’ll see, we wanted to capture the colours of the charity along with a bit of sparkle for this special occasion. We made up a unique blend of frit with a mixture of lime green, dark green and pink glass and added a bit of mica shimmer. This mixture is rolled onto a white core before being encased in clear and decorated with random dark green dots on the surface.
Each one of these beads are individually handmade in our workshop in North Devon so please expect there to be variations in every bead. This is what makes your Nalu unique.
