A beautiful glass bead inspired by Seatown (Golden Cap) in Dorset. Collect our glass charms to create a beach bracelet and jewellery to remember your favourite places.

Seatown is a small coastal hamlet situated 3 miles from West Bay. It has a privately owned shingle beach, which is popular with walkers and fossil collectors and has a footpath to Golden Cap. Golden Cap sits 1 mile from Seatown and is the highest point on the south coast; it is a hill and cliff situated between Bridport and Charmouth and forms part of the Jurassic coast, a world Heritage Site. The name Golden Cap comes from the distinctive golden greensand rock. On a clear day you can see Portland Bill and to Start Point and Dartmoor inland.
The beach inspires our pretty Seatown bead and colours found within the rock at Golden Cap. It is made using a base bead in Amber glass and then encasing it in straw glass to capture the colours found within the rock. The bead is then carefully decorated in layered swirls of blue and green representing the rolling miles of headland. The bead is then decorated with a series of dark amber glass portraying the rocks found within.
Our Seatown (Golden Cap) beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
