Oban is a small waterfront town on the west coast of Scotland. It is very popular with holidaymakers in the summer as it is one of the main gateways to the islands so it’s the perfect place to stay to go island hopping.
Our Oban bead is made in a rich dark amber glass. Pieces of gold leaf are then delicately placed around the bead representing the islands around Oban. The bead is then encased in a light amber glass to add depth.
Our Oban beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
