The Isle of Skye is the largest island in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland. It is connected to the northwest coast by bridge and is well known for its rugged landscape, dramatic coastline and mountain ranges. The Isle of Skye is a truly magical place steeped with history.
Our Isle of Skye bead has been created using a speciality glass called new Ivory that combines tones of ivory, dark grey and browns, which perfectly depict the rugged coastline. The glass is then rolled in silver powder while molten and encased in clear which adds depth. The bead is then carefully decorated in a series of dots.
Our Isle of Skye beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
