Clacton-On-Sea Bead
Clacton-On-Sea is a seaside town located on the Tendring Peninsula in Essex and is a popular seaside town for families. The beach is lovely and sandy and it has a pier with entertainment. It has a busy promenade and you can walk from Martello bay to Clacton pier to the upper promenade with stunning gardens.
The sea reaching the shore and the shapes created against the sea and the sand inspired our inspiration for our Clacton-On-Sea bead. We have created this by making a bead of ivory glass and then carefully decorating scallop shapes of blue to represent the sea. The bead is then decorated with a series of sky blue dots to represent the hustle and bustle found along the beach and promenade.
