This iconic little tidal island is a South Devon landmark with its Art Deco inspired hotel and links to Agatha Christie…not to mentioned the tractor ride to access it at low tide!
We wanted the Burgh Island bead to follow the design of our other UK Isle beads but to represent Devon by being a beautiful green. The core of the bead is made with a glass called Kiwi, this is then rolled in a shimmering mica powder before being encased in clear and decorated with random dots of Kiwi.
Our Burgh Island beads are made by Sarah in our studio in Braunton, North Devon.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
