Zermatt Bead
Zermatt is a busy mountain resort town in Switzerland. It is renowned for its fantastic skiing, climbing and hiking. The town lies below the iconic Matterhorn peak. The word ‘Zermatt’ derives from the word ‘alpine meadow’ and we hoped to translate this into the design and colours of our bead.
We started off with a white Murano glass base bead which we then rolled in our unique Swiss frit blend giving it a mottled appearance of blues and teals. Once the bead has cooled, we pop it into our tumbler to give it a lovely frosty matt finish.

Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.
Bead Sizes:
Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
