Ericeira is a civil parish and seaside resort on the western coast of Portugal. It is a With its perfect waves, breathtaking landscapes and abundance of natural beauty it is easy to see why this is a world class surfing destination and the surfing capitol of Portugal. There are 15 different breaks to choose from in just 8 km of coastline with all year round consistent surf.
We wanted to capture Portugal in this bead by representing not only the sea and surf but also the Portuguese architecture and design. We decided on using lapis against white, pulling the lapis to points to reflect the characteristic Portuguese tiles and also waves. We added some light blue dots to add some contrasting colour.
We try our very best to keep the patterns on our beads as consistent as possible but due to the nature of each one being individually handmade, please except there to be variations in each bead...this is what makes your Nalu unique!
