The surface of the bead is sprinkle with a reactive frit which will shimmer on the surface to capture the lakes dotted on the landscape. This route passes through Scotlands most beautiful countryside, forests and historic towns.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere was a lot we wanted to capture in this bead! We started with a core of green for the forests of Galloway and grey for the craggy hills and ruins. The core is covered in a wrap of clear before we add arches of brown glass to represent the \u003cspan\u003eStriding Arch. More clear glass is then added to finish the bead to full size before we have added the meandering raised grey path joined by the three flattened grey dots.
