Lecht Bead - Scotland

The Lecht Ski resort is an alpine ski area situated in the stunning location of the Eastern Cairngorms in the heart of Scotland’s national park in the highlands. The slopes are set around the mountains of Beinn a Chruinnich and Meikle Corr Riabhhach.

Our Lecht bead has been created making a bead ion white glass and then rolling it in a handmade frit (Tiny shards of coloured glass) which is then heated at a high temperature to mix the colours and swirl them together. The blues found in the frit represent the colours found within the blue skies and the shadows cast from the mountains. The bead is then carefully decorated in the frit and left proud. The bead is then tumbled to give it a beautiful matte finish.
