Isle Of North Uist Bead
North Uist falls right in the middle of the Outer Hebrides, Scotland. This island is a haven for wildlife and boasts the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. The landscape is a mixture of sandy beaches, fresh & salt water lochs and crofts.
Inspired by North Uist's white sandy beaches and crystal seas reflecting purple skies at sunset. We've made this bead with half transparent lavender and half pearl grey glass, we then rolled the bead whilst still hot in a blend of frit that we've made up especially for North Uist. The bead is then tumbled to give it a frosted finish with texture.

Each Nalu Bead is individually handmade so please expect there to be variations in patterns and colours, this is what makes your Nalu Bead unique.

Standard Nalu Bead Size: width 9.5mm, diameter 16.5mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Mini Nalu Bead Size: width 8mm, diameter 14mm, core 4mm
Bespoke Core Size: 5mm suitable to fit alternative jewellery brands.
